Applying wet in wet watercolor layering techniques to achieve soft textures

I recently posted a video on how to draw a fore-shorted horse using simple shapes. Here is the second part of the demonstration where I paint into the drawing using wet in wet layering. The idea behind layering the colors using a wet in wet technique is to allow for softer edges and transitions between colors. As the image depicts a backlit horse under golden light, I wanted to keep the warm atmosphere throughout which is largely why I start with an initial ochre wash that passes through the background and the horse itself.
